When the Münchberg city center becomes a festival mile, it's Stadtfest time in Upper Franconia. For two days, the town in the Hof district celebrates one of its biggest festivals: a lively city festival with Sunday shopping that attracts visitors from all over the region and is the social highlight of early summer for many Münchberg residents.
The program is varied: several stages are spread throughout the city center with live bands and DJs of various styles, plus an amusement area with rides. Attractions include a CityZip zip line right through the city, an evening laser show, children's program, and a 'Youth Mile' where local clubs present themselves. The Sunday shopping additionally opens the city's shops.
The Stadtfest is supported by the Münchberg Business Association together with the city. Admission is free. With stages, market stalls, rides, and activities, the festival combines retail, club life, and entertainment into a weekend for the whole family.

The 36th Stadtfest Münchberg takes place on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, 2026. The city center becomes a festival mile all day long with highlights for all ages.
