Langenhagen Celebrates Its Summer City Festival

Langenhagen, one of the largest cities in the Hannover region with around 55,000 inhabitants and a close neighbor to Hannover Airport, invites you annually to a three-day city festival in the city center. It is a meeting point for residents from all districts, for guests from northern Hannover, and for day-trippers.

Two Stages, a Wide World of Sound

The concept relies on two parallel stages, allowing the festival's musical spectrum – from rock to pop and disco to jazz and brass music – to be presented simultaneously. Confirmed for 2026 are, among others:

• Friday: Rockkantine, Infinitiv Rock, Daniel Solo
• Saturday: Björn Hader, John Winston & Oliver Wissing, Freshh
• Sunday: Jazz acts, brass band, Trio Under Prescher

Fountain Disco, Flea Market, Amusement Rides

In addition to the stages, the classics are present: a fountain disco provides the evening dance floor under the open sky, several amusement rides offer a Volksfest (public festival) feeling, and a large flea market area attracts hunters and collectors. Gastronomic providers from Langenhagen and Hannover ensure culinary diversity.

Family Offerings

There is a daily children's program: bouncy castles, face painting, hands-on activities, small competitions. The city festival explicitly sees itself as an intergenerational event – family time in the afternoon, concert and disco flair in the evening.
