St. Sebastianus Schützenfest Koblenz-Metternich

The St. Sebastianus Riflemen's Brotherhood Koblenz-Metternich is one of the traditional riflemen's clubs in the west of Koblenz, on the left bank of the Rhine. Its patron saint is Saint Sebastian, who has been considered the patron saint of riflemen for centuries – a common patronal tradition in many districts of Catholic Western Germany.

Metternich – A District with Civic Pride

Metternich is a vibrant district on the western bank of the Moselle River with village roots. Its incorporation into Koblenz has not erased its character as an independent locality: a strong network of clubs – riflemen, Kirmes society (Metternicher Eulekärmes), carnival, music, and sports clubs – shapes social life.
