Imaginative medieval festival in the spa gardens — 9th edition
The Spektakulum Mulne is Mölln's grand medieval festival: a three-day spectacle of music, acrobatics, crafts, and camp life in the spa gardens of the Eulenspiegel town. The 9th edition will take place in 2026 — the festival has developed into one of Northern Germany's most popular medieval events in recent years.
Organizers and Tourism Mölln promise "a colorful spectacle full of sounds and colors, from early morning until late at night." Specifically, visitors can expect:
Those who wish can come in medieval or fantasy costumes — it's not mandatory, but always welcome. Blunt costume weapons are allowed, sharp ones are not. Dogs on a leash are also welcome. The organizers explicitly maintain a "hate-free zone": all guests are welcome, regardless of origin, gender, or faith.
Mölln is one of Schleswig-Holstein's best-known small towns — primarily thanks to Till Eulenspiegel, the famous jester, whose grave is located in the town. The spa gardens are picturesquely situated by the water, nestled in one of the state's most charming lake landscapes. Spektakulum Mulne perfectly utilizes this backdrop: campfires under old trees, music across the park, the glow of fire at dusk.
From Friday, September 18, to Sunday, September 20, 2026, Mölln's spa gardens will transform into a medieval and fantasy world for the ninth time. Tourismus- und Stadtmarketing Mölln is responsible as the organizer and prominently promotes the 2026 edition via the official festival website.
A dense program unfolds over three days — music, acrobatics, camp life, crafts, falconry. Exact performance times of the minstrels will be published shortly before the festival on spektakulum-mulne.de.
Detailed performance times of individual groups will be published shortly before the festival on the official website as well as on Tourismus Mölln.
