The 8th edition of Spektakulum Mulne once again attracted thousands of visitors to Mölln's spa gardens in 2025. Traveling minstrels, living history camps, falconers with their birds of prey, and fantasy readings characterized the three-day festival in the Eulenspiegel town in the Duchy of Lauenburg.

Review of the 8th Spektakulum Mulne 2025

In 2025, Mölln's spa gardens were once again transformed into a colorful medieval world for three days. Living history groups set up their camps under the old trees, musicians roamed the park, and falconers showcased their birds of prey in the air. Families, medieval enthusiasts, and fantasy fans from all over Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, and Lower Saxony traveled to attend.

Since its first edition, the festival has become a firm fixture on the Northern German medieval calendar. The organizers' hate-free zone policy and free admission make it an unusually open medieval festival — set against the backdrop of one of Schleswig-Holstein's most beautiful small towns. The 9th edition will follow in 2026 from September 18 to 20.
