In the Middle of the Village, on the Central Square
Mehrstetten is a small Alb municipality in the Reutlingen district, located on the western high plateau of the Swabian Jura between Münsingen and Ehingen. Just under 1,200 inhabitants, a dense club life, an Albverein hiking trail right on the edge of the village – and a market square that is actively used by the Market Square Association Mehrstetten.
Summer Festival with Changing Themes
The annual Summer Festival of the association takes place in midsummer on the market square. In previous years, evenings with a clear theme were held – such as an Italian Night with Mediterranean cuisine, wine, and suitable music. The character and concept vary from year to year, but the community spirit remains: seating on the square, stalls from local clubs and restaurants, live music or a DJ set.
What to Expect
- Open-air catering on the central market area of Mehrstetten
- Changing themed program (e.g., Italian Night in previous years)
- Participation of local clubs – music band, sports clubs, fire department
- Family-friendly atmosphere in a manageable Alb municipality
- Whatever the weather – in case of rain, relocation to covered areas
Mehrstetten — Small Alb Municipality with a Big Event Calendar
Despite its size, Mehrstetten is one of the Alb municipalities with an above-average dense event calendar. In addition to the summer festival on the market square, the Youth Center (JuZe) organizes the JuZe-Hockete, and local clubs host numerous festivals throughout the year. Its location between Münsingen and the main axis of the Swabian Jura makes it a quiet but lively hub.
