Club Festival with Brass Music in the Unterallgäu Region

The Sommerfescht of the Musikverein Unterkammlach is one of the summer highlights in the municipality of Kammlach in the Unterallgäu district. For three days, the MV Unterkammlach transforms the Bolzplatz/Festplatz in the Unterkammlach district into a small marquee landscape with a stage, catering, and festival operations. The festival follows the Swabian-Bavarian tradition of club festivals, where the in-house brass band, along with friendly music clubs from the surrounding area, provides the musical accompaniment.

Program and Schedule

The program follows the classic structure of a three-day club festival: opening evening on Friday with marquee opening and live music, festival evening on Saturday with invited bands or a party band, morning pint and festival conclusion on Sunday. Catering is provided by the club itself – draft beer, snacks, grilled sausages, steaks, and coffee with cake on Sunday afternoon.

Kammlach in the Unterallgäu Region

The municipality of Kammlach is located in the west of the Unterallgäu district, in the Swabian pre-Alpine landscape between Memmingen and Mindelheim. It consists of the districts Unterkammlach and Oberkammlach, both with their own music club and their own festival culture. With its Sommerfescht, the MV Unterkammlach cultivates a central element of village community life – customs, music, and conviviality in a typical Unterallgäu style.
