Three Summer Days at the Winery

The Summer Wine Festival at Weingut Claes Schmitt Erben is one of Trittenheim's courtyard festivals that shape the summer program of the Mosel community. Over three days, from Friday, June 19th, to Sunday, June 21st, 2026, the winery's courtyard will transform into a summer meeting point. The courtyard, tasting rooms, and outdoor seating area will be open – an invitation to get to know the winery from the inside.

Trittenheim Rieslings First-Hand

The wines of the house are the focus. Trittenheim Rieslings from the Grand Cru sites Altärchen and Apotheke will be served by the glass – from dry estate Riesling to noble sweet Spätlese. Guests can ask questions directly to the winery members, compare vintages, and learn about the background of the harvest, vinification, and style. The tasting in the courtyard itself is considered by many Mosel enthusiasts to be the most authentic form of wine encounter.

Courtyard Festival with Regional Cuisine

Catering will be provided by the winery and regional suppliers. Classic courtyard festival fare such as Flammkuchen, sausage platters, farmer's bread, and seasonal summer dishes form the gastronomic backbone.
