The 2026 City Festival spans two days and utilizes four stages spread across the city center. Seesener Nacht — The Saturday Evening Highlight

The Seesener Nacht on Saturday evening is the central program point for young and middle-aged audiences. Live music and DJs create a festive atmosphere late into the night — a true festival night ambiance in the city center. The Seesener Nacht has become the hallmark of the city festival and is a significant reason for many visitors to attend.

Fashion Show and 1st Mini Schützenfest on Saturday

Two special program points are offered on Saturday in 2026: At 3 PM, a fashion show takes place where Seesen's fashion stores present their latest collections. Additionally, the 1st Mini Schützenfest will be held in Marktstraße — a new format where SV Seesen brings the shooting club tradition to the city center with light rifle shooting. This premiere combines tradition with modern staging and gives visitors the opportunity to participate in a shooting competition themselves.

Sunday Shopping and Fairground Attractions

On Sunday, the city center opens for Sunday shopping. Fashion stores, bookstores, souvenir shops, and all other businesses present their offers. In parallel, fairground rides, carousels, and food stalls create a Volksfest (folk festival) atmosphere — an attractive combination for the whole family.
