In 2026, the Seeparkfest Bad Bodenteich looks back on its 51st edition, making it one of the most traditional Volksfeste in the Lüneburger Heide. The idyllic Kurpark am See (Spa Park by the Lake) is the venue — a green area with old trees, meadows, playgrounds, and direct access to the natural bathing lake. The spa town of Bad Bodenteich uses three days in August to entertain locals and guests with a packed program.

Friday, August 14th — Kick-off with Free Admission

Friday marks the start with free admission. The program focuses on the opening, initial concerts or events in the Kurpark, and a convivial evening. Ideal for working people who want to spend a relaxed evening by the lake after work.

Saturday, August 15th — Main Festival Day

Saturday is the busiest festival day with a program from 1 PM to 9 PM (admission €2.50, children under 14 free):

• Colour Run: A colorful fun run with colored powder — a popular participatory event for families and teenagers
• Children's Flea Market: Children offer toys and books
• Live Music: Performances by various bands throughout the day
• Acrobatics: Show performances by professional acrobats
• Stall Mile: Stalls with regional products, crafts, and food
• Tent Disco in the evening with a DJ and a dancing crowd
• Fireworks and Laser Show to conclude as a spectacular highlight

Sunday, August 16th — Flea Market

Sunday is dedicated to the large flea market (10 AM–5 PM, admission €2.50, children under 14 free). Hundreds of stalls spread across the Kurpark — private sellers, small traders, and collectors present their treasures. The market is accompanied by a musical breakfast in the festival tent with live music and a brunch offer.

The Kurpark am See is one of the most beautiful spa facilities in the Lüneburger Heide. The lake invites visitors to swim and boat in the summer, and the spacious grounds offer ample room for the market, stages, and festival area. The Seeparkfest is a classic Volksfest with character — not as large as a Stoppelmarkt, but with remarkable program density and a mix that appeals to all generations.
