The Schützenverein Wagenfeld-Haßlingen e.V. was founded in 1925, boasting a club history of over 100 years. In the Haßlingen district of Wagenfeld, it is an important social pillar, with its annual Schützenfest being a fixed date in the village calendar.
Marksmen's Hall in Schulstraße
The club house and festival grounds are located in Schulstraße in Wagenfeld. The central location makes the festival easily accessible on foot and by bike. During the two-day festival, Schulstraße transforms into a small festival mile.
Kick-off on Saturday Evening
Saturday, May 9th, 2026, begins at 7:45 PM with the festive kick-off. The festival tent opens its doors, live music plays, and marksmen, guests, and citizens gather for convivial socializing and the first round of festivities.
Shooting Competitions and Royal Proclamation
As with every Schützenfest, the competitions for the royal title are the highlight. Marksmen compete at the club's shooting range, and the proclamation of the new monarch follows in the evening. The coronation ball and king's dinner on Sunday form the climax.
Festive Parade on Sunday
On Sunday, May 10th, 2026, a festive parade will march through the Haßlingen district. Marksmen in uniform, the band, friendly clubs, and the reigning monarch present a colorful spectacle – the public lines the streets and applauds.
