St. Sebastian Marksmen's Brotherhood since 1896
The St. Sebastian Marksmen's Brotherhood Vahren, Stapelfeld and surrounding area from 1896 e.V. looks back on 130 years of club history. It unites the marksmen families from the two neighboring Cloppenburg districts of Vahren and Stapelfeld, as well as from the surrounding area. The patron saint Sebastian – patron saint of marksmen – points to the Catholic-influenced marksmen tradition of the Oldenburg Münsterland region.
Detailed Festival Friday Schedule
The festival Friday is characterized by a particularly detailed schedule: Marksmen's mass at the beginning, 6:15 PM Order Shooting, 8:00 PM Prince Shooting for the youth, 8:45 PM King Shooting for the adults. This staggered structure brings various competitions together in an orderly sequence.
Festival Weekend on Saturday
On Saturday, the King's reception, a parade through Vahren and Stapelfeld, a festive church service, the King's dinner, proclamation, and coronation of the new royal couple, followed by the festival evening in the marquee.
