SV Falkenburg
The Falkenburg marksmen's club is rooted in the district of the same name in the municipality of Ganderkesee. Falkenburg is located in the immediate vicinity of the Falkensteinsee — the same lake where the Highland Games also take place at the holiday park. The club maintains a clubhouse, shooting ranges, and a festival grounds in the village.
Program
The two festival days include bird shooting and king's shooting on Saturday, and on Sunday, morning pint, a festival parade through the district, family day, and in the evening, the royal proclamation. Brass bands and festival orchestras accompany the parade.
Royal Proclamation Sunday 7 PM
The highlight of the weekend is the festive proclamation of the new shooting kings and queens on Sunday at 7 p.m. — with the handover of the royal chain and the reception of the new court.
