SV Bürstel-Immer
The marksmen's club SV Bürstel-Immer is rooted in the twin district of Bürstel-Immer in the municipality of Ganderkesee. As a member of the Ganderkeseer Schützenbund, the club preserves the North German marksmen's tradition and hosts its annual club festival in the second half of July.
Classic Program
Bird shooting and king shooting on Saturday, parade, family day, and king proclamation on Sunday. Fife and drum corps and festival bands accompany the parade; the festival tent offers space for dancing and social gatherings.
King Proclamation Sunday 8 PM
Unlike most other clubs in the Ganderkeseer Schützenbund, SV Bürstel-Immer moves the proclamation to 8 PM — one hour later than the majority of the federal clubs. With the handover of the king's chain and the reception of the new majesties, the weekend reaches its ceremonial climax.
