Soderstorf Marksmen's Association
The Soderstorf Marksmen's Association is the central pillar of marksmanship activities in the municipality of the same name. Like many marksmen's associations in the heath region, it cultivates sport shooting with small-bore rifles and air rifles, as well as social club life centered around the annual Schützenfest. With members from Soderstorf and the surrounding villages of the Amelinghausen municipality, the association is an important social anchor in this rural region.

Friendly associations from the Amelinghausen municipality — Amelinghausen, Betzendorf, Oldendorf (Luhe), Rehlingen — participate in the festive procession. A family programme with a carousel and children's entertainment, as well as a Sunday morning pint (Frühschoppen), open the festival to the entire village.
