Reekenfeld-Kamperfehn is one of the fen settlement districts of the municipality of Barßel in the northern district of Cloppenburg. The Schützenfest Reekenfeld-Kamperfehn is organized by the local marksmen's club and is one of the village's fixed summer dates. The festival is embedded in the dense Schützenfest calendar of the Barßel marksmen's district.
Three-Day Program with Children's Schützenfest
The festival begins on Friday with the children's Schützenfest, which is specially dedicated to the youngest club members and the children of the village community. Saturday features the King's reception, parade, and evening party, while Sunday focuses on the festival service, morning pint, King's dinner, and proclamation.
New King's Throne and Mounted Fanfarenzug
A special feature of recent festival editions was the first appearance of a mounted fanfarenzug on the new King's throne in 2025 – a premiere that enriched the Schützenfest Reekenfeld-Kamperfehn with an impressive musical element. This tradition will continue in 2026.

The Reekenfeld-Kamperfehn Marksmen's Club will publish the final 2026 program in early summer. As in previous years, the children's Schützenfest on Friday will mark the start, followed by two days of festivities with classic Schützenfest program points.
