The Schützenfest of SV Neuenkirchen-Schwanewede is the traditional Whitsun Schützenfest of the district and is one of the fixed festival dates in the municipality of Schwanewede. The club has been preserving shooting sports traditions for generations and organizes the festival weekend in close connection with village life. The Reiterschanze, as the venue, combines the marksmen's club, shooting range, and festival grounds in one central location.
Pfingstmove as a Trademark
The 'Pfingstmove' on Saturday afternoon – a festive parade through the district – is a special feature of this festival.
