Schützenverein Lippborg 1830 — Club History with Almost 200 Years
The Schützenverein Lippborg e.V. is one of the oldest and most active marksmen's associations in the Soest district. Founded in 1830, making it almost 200 years old, it organizes its annual Schützenfest as a central club event. The Schützenfest Lippborg 2026 will take place from Saturday, July 4th to Monday, July 6th, 2026 on the traditional Marktwiese in the Lippborg district, which belongs to the municipality of Lippetal.
King and Queen 2025/2026
The reigning King and Queen for the 2025/2026 club year are Norbert and Heike Witte. They represent the club at all events and are the focus of the marquee program. The new King and Queen for 2026/2027 will be determined during the bird shooting at the 2026 Schützenfest.

The festival follows the classic Westphalian Schützenfest format:
- Parade with King and Queen Witte, their retinue, and a brass band through Lippborg

Lippetal — Municipality in the Soest District
Lippetal is a municipality in the Soest district (North Rhine-Westphalia), located on the Lippe river south of Hamm. With around 12,000 inhabitants across the districts of Lippborg, Hovestadt, Herzfeld, Oestinghausen, and others, each district maintains its own club life — Lippetal will host a total of eight different Schützenfeste between May and August in 2026. Lippborg is one of the central districts with a long marksmen tradition.
