Schützenfest in Lindern
The Schützenverein der Gemeinde Lindern e.V. is the main club of the shooting fraternity in the municipality of Lindern in the southern district of Cloppenburg. The Whitsun Schützenfest is the annual highlight of the club's year and is one of the major events in the municipality. Whitsun is traditionally a popular date for Schützenfeste in the Münsterland region — Lindern joins in here.
"All-in-Party" — Modern Festival Formats
A special feature of the Lindern Schützenfest is the "All-in-Party" on Sunday evening of Whitsun with a live band and DJ. It particularly appeals to a younger audience and makes the Schützenfest attractive even to non-club members. During the day, the festival also offers a coffee afternoon for seniors and children's entertainment — thus appealing to all generations.
