75 Years KKSV Meinerzhagen — An Anniversary Festival

The Kleinkaliber-Sportverein Meinerzhagen 1951 e.V. is one of the most traditional sports clubs in the city — and celebrates its 75th club anniversary in 2026. For this occasion, the club opens its Schützenplatz on Saturday, May 30, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM for a grand family festival with live music and catering.

Live Music with the Band SAM

The musical highlight of the anniversary evening is the performance by the Band SAM — a cover and party band with a mix of current hits, Schlager, and rock classics, established in the Sauerland event scene for years. This makes the anniversary more than just a Schützenfest: it's also one of the few live concerts in Meinerzhagen.

Family Festival on the Schützenplatz

In addition to the band performance, guests can expect:

• Catering: Bratwurst, fries, steaks from the grill, beer, soft drinks, coffee, and cake in the afternoon.
• Children's Program: Bouncy castles, small activity stations, hands-on activities.
• Club Presentation: Demonstration of the shooting ranges with laser rifle and pistol (for the youngest participants), blowpipe station, classic small-caliber shooting lanes.
• Honors: Recognition of deserving club members for the anniversary.

The Club and Its Sport

The KKSV Meinerzhagen offers training for children, youth, and adults of all skill levels. For the youngest, laser rifles and pistols as well as blowpipes are available; older members train with small-caliber weapons for competitions up to championships. Meinerzhagen is located in the Märkischer Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia, in the southern Sauerland region. With just under 21,000 inhabitants, the town is the center of a part of the Volmetal and is well-connected economically due to its location between Cologne and Olpe.
