In 2026, the Schützenfest Husbäke looks back on its 64th edition. The local shooting club in Apen's Husbäke district is the organizer — one of those Ammerland villages where the shooting tradition has been kept alive for decades. The highlight of each edition is the proclamation of the new Kaiser couple, who bear the highest honor of the shooting community.

2026 Edition — Two Days of Program

The 2026 edition is spread over Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30. It opens on Friday evening at 7 p.m. with the traditional Beer Pong Cup — a format that introduces the younger generation to club life. On Saturday, the shooting program starts at 2:30 p.m. with the coffee reception and King's Ball, followed later by the proclamation of the Kaiser couple and the grand festival ball.

DJ Benedikt Provides the Music

In 2026, the musical accompaniment at the festival ball will be provided by DJ Benedikt — a mix of Schlager, party classics, and current hits that will get both marksmen and guests onto the dance floor. The festival tent also serves as a meeting point for the village community and all generations of Apen.
