Groß Sisbeck Marksmen's Association

The Groß Sisbeck marksmen's association is the organizer of the Schützenfest and a pillar of village life. Men and women of all generations are involved in the association. The annual organization of the Schützenfest is supported by volunteers and is the association's biggest achievement of the year.

King's Shooting and King's Proclamation

The highlight of every Schützenfest is the king's shooting. The best shot crowns the new shooting king, who, along with his court, leads the club's social life for a year. The festive king's proclamation is one of the emotional highlights of the festival weekend.

Parade through Groß Sisbeck

The traditional parade leads through the streets of Groß Sisbeck. Marksmen in uniform, marching bands, music groups, friendly clubs, and the fire department march through the decorated village with music. Residents decorate houses and front gardens.

Festival Tent and Dance Evenings

The evening dance and program events take place in the festival tent. With a live band or DJ, the king's dance, and catering, the social gathering becomes a highlight. The festival tent is a meeting point for young and old.

Sunday — Morning Pint and Family Day

Sunday morning features a morning pint (Frühschoppen) with brass music. Sunday afternoon is family-oriented: children's shooting, bouncy castle, games, and catering. The Schützenfest ends in the late afternoon with a social closing.
