The Schützenverein Gersten-Drope e.V. invites you to the annual Schützenfest (marksmen's festival) in Gersten, Samtgemeinde Lengerich (Emsland) on May 23 and 24, 2026. Drope is a district of Gersten, and the club unites the two places into a common marksmen's community. Over two festival days, the club celebrates the Emsland marksmen's tradition with a bird shooting contest, proclamation of the king, festive parade, church service, and dance evening. The festival combines rural tradition with the commitment of two villages and is one of the fixed summer dates in the southern Emsland.

The 2026 Schützenfest of SV Gersten-Drope takes place on May 23 and 24 at the festival grounds in Gersten. Two festival days celebrate the Emsland marksmen's tradition with collecting the king, bird shooting, festive parade, church service, and dance evening.
