Schützenfest Clenze 2026

Schützengilde since 1848

The Schützengilde zu Clenze von 1848 und Umgebung e.V. looks back on almost 180 years of club tradition. The annual Schützenfest (marksmen's festival) is the highlight of the club's year and an important Volksfest (people's festival) for Clenze and the surrounding villages in the western Wendland region. In 2026, the festival will be celebrated from Friday, June 13th, to Sunday, June 15th, at the Schützenplatz on Dalitzer Weg.

Family-Friendly and Attractive

Unlike some classic, traditional Schützenfeste, Clenze places special emphasis on the family program. In addition to the classic marksmen's rituals, numerous attractions await the youngest visitors:

• Bouncy castles for the little ones
• Bull riding for the brave
• Kids' disco with DJ and light show
• Children's shooting for the guild's youngsters

Proven Three-Day Schedule

The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in the spring. The structure follows the proven key points of previous years:

• Friday: Opening, festival operations, live band in the evening
• Saturday: Bird shooting, parade, dance evening, bull riding
• Sunday: King's proclamation, family day with kids' disco and bouncy castles, morning pint (Frühschoppen), winding down

Clenze in the Western Wendland

Clenze is located between Lüchow and Uelzen — the municipality of Lüchow-Wendland is home to the guild. The festival attracts visitors from the surrounding villages and combines marksmen's tradition with a modern family program.
