The Schützenfest of the Schützengesellschaft Beedenbostel e.V. is one of the most traditional village Schützenfeste in the eastern district of Celle. For three days, the municipality of Beedenbostel celebrates its annual Schützenfest with a festival parade through the village, King's shooting, King's proclamation, a festival tent with dancing, and a children's program. Date 2026: May 8th to 10th. Beedenbostel is located in the landscape area of Südheide and is the seat of the Samtgemeinde Lachendorf. The Schützenfest is an expression of the living club tradition and a moment of identification for the village community. Admission to the festival grounds is free.

Schützenfest in the Südheide

The Schützengesellschaft Beedenbostel e.V. is one of the most important associations in the municipality of Beedenbostel in the eastern district of Celle. The village is located in the Südheide landscape area and is the seat of the Samtgemeinde Lachendorf. As in many Heide communities, the Schützenfest here is an identity-forming event in which a large part of the village population participates.

The festival runs from Friday to Sunday and combines the classic program points of a North German Schützenfest:
