The 1848 Schneverdingen Rifle Association e.V. looks back on almost 180 years of club history and is one of the most traditional clubs in the heath town. With modern shooting facilities for various disciplines, it is well-positioned sportingly and is involved in regional and supra-regional competitions.

Shooting Sports Week as a Season Highlight

The shooting sports week in midsummer is the sporting highlight of the club year. For two weeks, the facilities are open for daily competitions and training opportunities. Club members, guest clubs from the Schneverdingen Rifle Association, and friendly rifle clubs from the Heidekreis district participate.

Disciplines

The competition schedule includes classic shooting sports disciplines: air rifle (10 m), small-bore rifle (50 m and 100 m), muzzleloader for enthusiasts of traditional weapons, archery, and pistol. The individual competitions are spread over specific days and times; a competition schedule will be communicated by the club in advance.

Competition Schedule

Training and competition sessions take place every day for two weeks. Team and individual rankings are held in parallel. Winners are determined in the respective disciplines and age groups. The awards ceremony takes place at the end of the week.

The shooting sports week is embedded in Schneverdingen's comprehensive rifle association culture. The town has several rifle associations in different districts, which are friendly with each other and regularly hold competitions. The 1848 town club is the largest and most sportingly active.
