Wine festival in the vineyards on Johannisberg with twelve Nahe winemakers and live concert
Komm näher is the branded event series of the Nahe winemakers, organizing festivals and wine events at various locations in the wine-growing region. The idea behind it is to make the diversity of Nahe wines experienceable in unusual, atmospherically high-quality environments. Rebenbeben in Wallhausen is one of the most profiled stops.
The Johannisberg is a Wallhausen vineyard that belongs to the Wallhausen viticultural identity. Its elevated position above the village offers a view over the vineyards of the northern Nahe and a landscape that is perfect for an open-air wine festival. During Rebenbeben, the vineyard becomes the festival grounds.
Twelve winemakers from the Nahe wine-growing region present their wines. The spectrum ranges from Rieslings to Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris, as well as specialties. Visitors can wander from stand to stand, taste wines, and talk to the producers.
Three food trucks complement the culinary offerings: Merg offers non-alcoholic options, Woldos presents its specialties, and Pizza Walter provides Italian classics from a wood-fired oven. From dusk, the wine bar becomes a convivial meeting point, and the highlight of the evening is the live concert by The Shakers, a popular cover band in the region.
Tickets are available in advance for €50 (early bird and regular tiers), and at the box office for €55. Admission includes access to the event; wine and food are paid for separately on-site. Advance sales are through the Weinland Nahe online shop.
The 2026 edition once again combines the unique setting of Johannisberg with the diversity of Nahe winemakers and a stage program that crowns the evening. A wine festival that uniquely implements the idea of wine in the vineyard.
The exact start time and detailed program will be published by the organizer in the spring. The confirmed program points are from official sources.
