PS.SPEICHER — Mobility Museum and Event Centre

Opened in 2014 in a former granary, PS.SPEICHER Einbeck houses one of Germany's most significant collections of historic vehicles. Over 400 motorcycles, automobiles, trucks, and other mobility objects spanning more than a century of history narrate the evolution of individual mobility. However, PS.SPEICHER is more than just a museum—it's a lively event centre with a year-round programme.

Highlights 2026

The 2026 annual programme includes numerous highlights. The season kicks off with the Kaffee & Karossen format in March, a relaxed vintage car meet in front of the museum building, featuring a community project. In the same month, from March 19th to 22nd, the Kulturkrafttage will take place, offering classical music, jazz, and literature. The Einbecker Oldtimertage on the first weekend of July is the major summer highlight, complete with a rally and parade. Additional themed weeks, special exhibitions, and events round out the programme.

The identity of PS.SPEICHER and the identity of the city of Einbeck are closely intertwined. Einbeck is one of Northern Germany's most beautiful half-timbered towns, boasting over 400 historic houses, and is considered the birthplace of Bock beer. The brand 'City of Vintage Cars, Half-Timbered Houses, and Beer' concisely captures this identity. PS.SPEICHER serves as the contemporary extension, adding the dimension of mobility history.
