The Prignitz-Sommer is a series of concerts, theatre performances, open studios, and the "Quadrium" format running over several weeks in the Prignitz district. Initiated and supported by the Brandenburg Ministry of Science, Research and Culture, as well as by Sparkasse Prignitz, the Prignitz-Sommer connects the cultural venues of thinly populated northwestern Brandenburg — a landscape between the Elbe and the Mecklenburg Lake District, where cultural events build bridges between villages and small towns.
