The Playa de Albsem is the annual summer party of the municipality of Albisheim (Pfrimm) in the Donnersberg district. The name is a deliberate play on words using the local dialect: in Palatinate dialect, Albisheim is pronounced "Albsem", and the Spanish article "Playa de" turns it into the winking Albisheim beach bar.

Unlike the traditional Kerwe (village fair) or the May 1st train station festival, Playa de Albsem is a consciously modern format: beach bar atmosphere, summery-Mediterranean decoration, cocktails taking precedence over Palatinate wine, and music from the realms of Latin, summer hits, House, or mainstream pop. The format is aimed at a younger audience but is open as a convivial summer festival for all adults.
Albisheim Community Centre as the Venue
The venue is the Albisheim community centre with its surrounding outdoor area. A bar, stage, seating, and summery decorations will be set up here. The event begins in the evening at 7 PM and lasts until just before midnight – fitting for the summery open-air party format.

Playa de Albsem is born from the commitment of local clubs and volunteer residents. Proceeds from the festival benefit club activities. - 7:00 PM: Opening of Playa de Albsem at the community centre with summery decorations, beach bar setup, and welcome by the organisers.
- Evening: Music from the genres Latin, Summer Hits, House, or Mainstream Pop, depending on the year's concept, either DJ or live music.
- Food & Drink: Cocktails, draft beer, wine, soft drinks, small snacks, and grilled specialities.
- 11:30 PM: Official end of the event.
