A Rundlingsdorf Full of Arts and Crafts
The Pfingstmarkt Satemin has been taking place for almost two decades in the Rundlingsdorf (round village) of Satemin near Lüchow — and is considered one of the most beautiful and popular arts and crafts markets in Northern Germany. The 19th edition runs from Saturday, May 23, to Whit Monday, May 25, 2026.
Architecture Meets Craftsmanship
Satemin is one of the intact Rundlinge (round villages) in the Wendland region — a Slavic village form with houses arranged in a circle around a central square. This unique architecture forms the backdrop for the market. 80 exhibitors set up their stalls under the old oak trees and in the courtyards. The result: a market visit that is as atmospheric as few others in Northern Germany.
High-Quality Disciplines
The exhibitors have been carefully selected and represent the high-quality craftsmanship of the region and beyond:
- Jewelry: Gold, silver, precious stones
- Ceramics: Pottery, sculpture, Raku
- Textiles: Felt, fabrics, fashion
- Glass: Glass beads, sculpture, vessels
- Wood: Furniture, toys, object art
- Metal: Blacksmith work, bronze, stainless steel

- Leather: Bags, accessories
