About Pfingstmarkt Hanstedt
Pfingstmarkt Hanstedt — edition 2026
The 2026 edition continues the Pfingstmarkt tradition of the Faslamsclub. The combination of market, family festival, dance music, brass band, free beer, and flea market constitutes the special charm of the Pfingstmarkt, which appeals to different audiences with its three differently structured days.
The Alter Geidenhof as the venue lends the market a special atmosphere, oscillating between historic farm culture and modern folk festival.

The Alter Geidenhof in Hanstedt has been the venue for the annual Pfingstmarkt for years. The organizer is the Faslamsclub Hanstedt, which keeps North German customs alive through its commitment.
Three Festival Days from May 23rd to 25th, 2026
Pentecost Saturday to Pentecost Monday form the framework for the festival. Three days with different focuses: Saturday family and dancing, Sunday music and free beer, Monday flea market.
Saturday, May 23rd: Family Festival and DJ Chico
Pentecost Saturday starts at 2 PM with the market, and from 3 PM, the family festival begins with activities for children and parents, a bouncy castle, children's games, and food stalls. From 7 PM, DJ Chico will play dance music, transforming the Geidenhof into an open-air dance floor. A varied start to the Pentecost weekend.
Sunday, May 24th: Brackel Brass Orchestra and Free Beer
Pentecost Sunday opens at 12 PM. The renowned Brackel Brass Orchestra will give a concert in the afternoon with classical and folk brass music, musically enhancing the atmosphere of the Pfingstmarkt. From 3 PM, the traditional free beer will be served – a gastronomic highlight that attracts a particularly large number of visitors.
Monday, May 25th: Large Flea Market
Pentecost Monday is dedicated to the large flea market. Private individuals and dealers will offer bric-a-brac, antiques, collectibles, and curiosities. The flea market attracts additional visitors from the region to Hanstedt and makes the third day of the festival the busiest.
