Summer festival on the open-air stage by the lake
Brüssow is located in the northern Uckermark in the Uckermark district (Brandenburg, on the border with Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The open-air stage by the lake in the town park has been the venue for the annual Parkfest for years – one of the region's most popular summer festivals. The backdrop of the park, lake, and open stage is the scenic feature that distinguishes the festival from other town festivals.
The program follows a proven dramaturgy: children's program in the afternoon with games, entertainment, and family activities, live bands in the evening with danceable music from pop, rock, and Schlager, later DJ sets that keep the mood going until late at night. Food is provided by on-site stalls offering bratwurst, drinks, and regional specialties.
Brüssow is one of the northernmost towns in Brandenburg with just under 800 inhabitants. The rural Uckermark attracts nature tourists, cyclists, and water sports enthusiasts in the summer – the Parkfest is one of the few major cultural highlights of the small town and is correspondingly well-attended. The organizer is the Amt Brüssow, which manages logistics together with local associations.
The 2026 edition continues the proven format of previous years: festival opening with a children's program in the afternoon, live bands from late afternoon/early evening, followed by a DJ dance night until the early hours. The open-air stage by the lake in the town park offers the ideal backdrop for a relaxed summer festival.
Exact band names and times will be published in the weeks before the festival on the event page of the Amt Brüssow. As a rule, regional cover bands from Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern play a mix of rock, pop, and Schlager. Food is provided by club stalls and gastronomic offerings in the park.
Detailed program and band names will be published before the festival at amt-bruessow.de/veranstaltungen. Information also available at 039742 8600.
Admission is traditionally free or by a small entrance fee – the exact details will be announced on the website of the Amt Brüssow before the festival. Food and drinks are paid for individually at on-site stalls.
By car via the B109 to Brüssow, parking in the town center and by the lake. By train to Prenzlau, then by bus.
Admission is traditionally free or for a small fee – exact details will be published on the website of the Amt Brüssow before the festival. Food and drinks are paid for individually on-site.
Bring a blanket or folding chair – the open-air stage has seating for some visitors, and the meadow area around it invites a relaxed picnic-style experience.
