Parish Festival in the Heart of Lebenstedt

The Catholic parish Christ King Lebenstedt sees itself as an open community in the heart of the Lebenstedt district. With its annual Parish Festival, it opens up particularly clearly to the neighborhood: on this day, not only parish members are invited, but all residents and guests.

Family Service

The parish festival begins with a family service on Sunday morning (exact time available from the parish). The service is intentionally designed to be child-friendly, with songs for young and old, a short, clear sermon, and active participation from families. Afterwards, the congregation processes from the church to the parish house and the outdoor area, where the festival takes place.

Community Festival in the Parish Garden

The actual festival runs throughout the afternoon. Offered are:

• Grilled Food – sausages, steaks, vegetarian alternatives
• Salads – from the parish community
• Cake Buffet – with homemade specialties
• Drinks – beer, wine, juices, water, coffee
• Music Program – church choir and solo artists
• Children's Area – bouncy castle, craft activities, face painting, play activities for the little ones
• Socializing – at beer tables in the parish garden

The proceeds from the sale of food and drinks benefit the parish work – especially youth work, the Caritas social fund, and projects for global solidarity.
