41 hobby artists with Easter decorations in the multi-purpose hall
The Ostermarkt der Landfrauen Gersbach is an example of the vibrant club activities of the Landfrauen associations in the region. In the Gersbach district of Pirmasens, the Landfrauen organize a market every March, which attracts a loyal regular clientele with its family atmosphere and quality offerings. The multi-purpose hall on Kindergartenstraße is the central venue.
At the stalls, 41 hobby artists present their works. The spectrum ranges from Easter decorations, handicrafts, and creative gift items to homemade jams and honey from the region. This diversity makes the market a suitable place to find Easter gifts and decorations for your own home – away from industrially produced seasonal goods.
The Landfrauen also take care of the physical well-being. In addition to coffee and cake, which are naturally part of every Landfrauen repertoire, hearty Palatinate specialties are also served. The Hoorische with Specksauce – a Palatinate variation of potato dumplings – is a classic that is maintained in many West Palatinate events and finds its home here.
Pirmasens-Gersbach is a lively district with an active club scene. The Ostermarkt der Landfrauen is just one part of a rich event calendar, which also includes the Maibaumfest (Maypole festival), the Dorffest (village festival), and the Maimädchenfest (May maiden festival). The multi-purpose hall is the focal point of this community life and provides the infrastructure for all major activities of the Gersbach community.
The 2026 edition continues the proven concept of a two-day market in the multi-purpose hall. The Landfrauen Gersbach organize it with high volunteer commitment and guarantee a quality offering with the selection of the 41 hobby artists.
The exact program for 2026, including a list of exhibitors and any accompanying activities, will be communicated by the Landfrauen Gersbach in advance.
