Summer Atmosphere in the Spa Triangle
Bad Griesbach in the Rottal region is part of the Lower Bavarian spa triangle and is known as a spa and golf destination. In summer, the central Kurplatz regularly becomes an open-air stage: throughout the summer months and into autumn, spa concerts and open-air events take place here, ranging from schlager stars to pop concerts and cabaret.

The most popular program item is »Schlager unter Sternen«: a summer evening full of hits with prominent artists from German-language entertainment music. In addition, there are other concert evenings with their own stars and programs that turn the Kurplatz into a summery open-air stage.

On the last weekend of June, the Kurplatz transforms into a summer festival: several bands play, and admission is free. The open-air series at the Kurplatz thus offers something for every taste – from the big schlager night to a relaxed summer festival for the whole family.
Open Air Kurplatz — edition 2026
In 2026, Bad Griesbach's Kurplatz will be the venue for several open-air concert evenings in early June: on Thursday, June 4th, starting at 8 PM (tickets from €68.50) and on Friday, June 5th, starting at 8 PM (from €85). The highlight is »Schlager unter Sternen« on Saturday, June 6th, at 6:30 PM – a summer evening full of hits with Semino Rossi (returning after 2024), the duo Fantasy (also for the second time), Die Schlagerpiloten (their open-air debut in the town), and Tammy, a young artist from Lower Bavaria.
Furthermore, on the last weekend of June, the Kurplatz will transform into a free summer festival with several bands. Tickets for the concerts are available through the Tourist Information Bad Griesbach and authorized ticket outlets.

Bad Griesbach is located in the Passau district in the Rottal region, accessible via the A 3 (Pocking exit) and the B 388. The venue is the Kurplatz in the town center.
