Classic Car Meeting on Kirchweih Sunday

The Untersiemau Oldtimer Meeting for Kirchweih is a special combination of Franconian Kirchweih tradition and the classic car scene: while the municipality of Untersiemau in the Coburg district celebrates its Kirchweih, the Oldtimerfreunde Untersiemau transform the Winzer Parkplatz of the Max Winzer upholstery factory into an open classic car showroom. Over 650 vehicles are expected at the 7th edition in 2026, complemented by awards for particularly well-maintained cars and motorcycles.

What will be awarded

Vehicles up to the 1995 model year are permitted – including passenger cars, motorcycles, tractors, and special commercial vehicles. A jury from the Oldtimerfreunde will select various trophies from the entries, ranging from "oldest vehicle" to "most beautiful original condition." Participation as an exhibitor requires pre-registration on the club's website.

Untersiemau – Kirchweih in the Coburg Region

Untersiemau is located in the Coburg district in Upper Franconia, immediately south of Coburg on the Itz river. The municipality is known for, among other things, the Max Winzer upholstery factory and for its annual Kirchweih, which is celebrated on the second weekend in October. In 2026, Kirchweih Sunday falls on October 11th – and thus also the date for the seventh edition of the Oldtimer Meeting. The meeting is supported by around 15 local businesses, from gastronomy and banking institutions to automotive workshops.
