Linau — a small community with great fire department commitment

Linau is a municipality with under 1,000 inhabitants in the district of Herzogtum Lauenburg in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. Like many small communities in the district, village life in Linau is strongly driven by the commitment of its clubs — and the Volunteer Fire Department Linau plays a special role in this. The annual Oldtimer Fest at the fire station is one of the most visible examples.

The classic car scene in the North

The classic car scene is traditionally active in Schleswig-Holstein. Smaller village and fire department festivals have established themselves over the years as attractive meeting points for collectors: less commercial than the big classic car fairs, but with a family atmosphere and direct contact between owners and visitors. What happens at the festival

The event starts at 10:00 AM at the fire station of the Volunteer Fire Department Linau. It is a one-day event in the fire department's summer program.
