Bavarian Oktoberfest in Northern Germany

The Munich Oktoberfest, with its unique atmosphere, is known worldwide. However, not everyone can or wants to travel to Munich for it. Oktoberfest Hameln has been bringing this atmosphere to the Rattenfänger-Halle Hameln since 2009, enabling a Bavarian Wiesn party in the Weserbergland.

Rattenfänger-Halle as a Venue

The Rattenfänger-Halle is one of Hameln's central event locations. With its size, it offers space for several hundred guests and can be decorated to create a Wiesn tent atmosphere.

Live Band

A live band provides the typical Oktoberfest music: Bavarian hits, international classics, and party music that invites dancing. The band ensures that the mood builds throughout the evening.

Bavarian Specialties and Oktoberfest Beer

Pretzels, Weißwurst (white sausages), Hax'n (pork knuckle), Sauerkraut, and other Bavarian specialties are served. The beer is poured in the typical Oktoberfest tradition – often one of the well-known Munich Wiesn beers or a festival beer in that tradition.

Dirndl and Lederhosen Welcome

Wearing Dirndl and Lederhosen is explicitly encouraged and shapes the event's appearance. Many guests invest in appropriate traditional costumes or rent them for the evening.

Tickets are available via Eventim and the official organizer's website. As the event is well-attended every year, early purchase is recommended.
