NORDHAUS Oldenburg — Building and Furnishing Fair

NORDHAUS brings together the themes of building, renovation, and furnishing in the Weser-Ems-Hallen on the last weekend of February. It is aimed at builders, renovators, homeowners, tenants with furnishing needs, and professionals looking to discover trends.

Building

Construction companies, prefabricated house manufacturers, solid construction companies, architects, and planners will present their concepts. The spectrum is broad, ranging from classic single-family homes to timber construction, passive houses, tiny houses, and multi-generational homes. Energy consulting, funding programs, and KfW topics are also covered.

Designing and Interior Finishing

Joineries, interior designers, lighting designers, tilers, and flooring providers will showcase materials and concepts. Sample areas allow for a tactile comparison of surfaces, woods, fabrics, and colors.

Living

Furniture stores and interior designers will present current collections. Upholstered furniture, kitchens, bedrooms, lighting concepts, and home textiles complete the offering.

Special Theme: AI in Construction Planning

The highlight for 2026 is the special theme of Artificial Intelligence in Construction Planning. The focus will be on AI-powered tools for floor plan design, energy consulting, material selection, visualization, and project management. Lectures and exhibitor contributions will show how construction processes are changing with AI.
