About MusikOffen
MusikOffen — edition 2026
MusikOffen 2026
The 2026 edition brings four very different evenings between June 25 and 28, 2026. As usual, admission to all concerts is free, and there is a gastronomic offer at each venue. On Saturday, a shuttle runs from the city center to the Pütnitz Technology Museum.
The program combines three tribute and concert evenings with a family-friendly Sunday spectacle, remaining true to the festival's profile: high-quality live music in places where music is rarely played.

Four days, four locations, four moods
MusikOffen is Ribnitz-Damgarten's signature open-air festival: no central festival site, but a journey through the Amber Town and its surroundings. On four consecutive days at the end of June, music is played in a different location – always free, always with its own atmosphere.
The Venues
The concept deliberately focuses on unusual settings. It opens at the Klockenhagen Open-Air Museum among thatched-roof houses. This is followed by the Klosterwiese in the heart of Ribnitz – an open meadow area directly by the former Clarissan convent. Saturday takes place at the Pütnitz Technology Museum, a former military airfield with a vast area. The finale is held at the dance hall of the Ribnitz-Damgarten Youth Hostel.
Programmatic Diversity
Each evening covers a different musical spectrum: from DJ sets with live instruments to tribute concerts (Udo Jürgens, KARAT) to a family program with juggling and poetry. This intentional heterogeneity makes the festival a cross-section of the region's music scene.
Town and Bodden
Ribnitz-Damgarten is located on the border between Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Fischland-Darß-Zingst, directly on the Saaler Bodden. The venues reflect different facets of the town: rural heritage (Klockenhagen), monastic town (Klosterwiese), military heritage (Pütnitz), and youth culture (Tanzhaus).
