Europe's Largest Turkish-Language Summer Festival

In recent years, the Multi Summer Festival has established itself as Europe's largest Turkish-language open-air festival. Featuring a variety of prominent artists from Turkey and the Turkish diaspora, it brings the summer vibe of an entire generation to the stage. In 2026, the event will take place on Saturday, June 20, on the outdoor grounds of the Rudolf Weber-ARENA in Oberhausen – one of the most important event venues in the western Ruhr area.

2026 Line-up

The 2026 program brings together six established acts from the Turkish pop and rap scene: Duman, one of the biggest Turkish rock bands of the past decades; Demet Akalin, one of Turkey's most successful female pop stars; as well as Semicenk, Lvbel C5, Sefo, and Murda – the latter shaping the younger Turkish trap and rap scene and being enormously popular with younger listeners from the Turkish community in Germany and Western Europe.

Open-Air on the Outdoor Grounds

The venue is the outdoor area of the Rudolf Weber-ARENA at Arenastraße 1, 46047 Oberhausen. The stage, seating, and standing areas will be set up on the large asphalt grounds, with catering trucks at the edges. An open-air atmosphere with food trucks and pure summer feeling, as the organizer themselves puts it. The program starts at 1:30 PM – explicitly a daytime festival, not a nighttime event.

Rudolf Weber-ARENA as a Location

The Rudolf Weber-ARENA (formerly König-Pilsener-ARENA) is one of the largest multi-purpose halls in the Ruhr area and regularly hosts concerts, sporting events, and major events. The outdoor area is used for open-air formats like the Multi Summer Festival – the location near the CentrO quarter is easily accessible by public transport and offers ample parking space.

Turkish Community in the Ruhr Area

With hundreds of thousands of people of Turkish migration background, the Ruhr area is one of the largest Turkish-speaking living spaces outside of Turkey. The Multi Summer Festival leverages this demographic reality, making Oberhausen – summer after summer – a central cultural hub for Turkish pop and rap acts in Western Europe.
