Muffigel Festival Days — the folk festival of the Hüttlingen municipality
The Muffigel Festival Days are the largest summer festival of the Hüttlingen municipality. Organized by the municipality of Hüttlingen in close cooperation with all local clubs — music club, sports club, fire brigade, shooting club, rural youth, church communities — the three festival days from Friday to Sunday spread throughout the entire town center. The mascot is the Muffigel, a charming invention of the municipality that has developed the festival into its own brand in recent years.
Program — Rock, Party, and Family
The program is clearly structured:
• Friday, June 19th — Open-air opening with FOOLPROOF, one of the most well-known cover bands in southern Germany, presenting rock classics from the 1980s and 1990s on the festival stage.
• Saturday, June 20th — "100% PARTY" with the cover band dieBANDE — chart hits, current pop and party tracks, guaranteed dancing atmosphere.
• Sunday, June 21st — Family and club program with a morning pint, lunch, performances by local clubs, hands-on activities for children, and the festival winding down in the late afternoon.
Admission to the open-air concerts and the club program is free. Catering provided by the participating clubs with Swabian specialties and cool drinks.
Hüttlingen and the Ostalbkreis
Hüttlingen (Ostalbkreis, AGS 08136, around 5,500 inhabitants) is located on the Kocher river between Aalen and Schwäbisch Hall, on the eastern edge of the Swabian Jura. The municipality is scenically surrounded by forests, meadows, and the characteristic Kocher valley. With the Muffigel Festival Days, Hüttlingen maintains a strong summer tradition that showcases club life and community spirit — a classic example of vibrant village festival culture in the rural Ostalbkreis.

Muffigel Festival Days 2026 — Folk Festival in the Town Center
From Friday, June 19th, to Sunday, June 21st, 2026, the municipality of Hüttlingen invites you to the 2026 Muffigel Festival Days. Three days of folk festival, three different program strands, one unifying mascot — the Muffigel.
Friday evening, FOOLPROOF rocks the festival stage with rock classics from the 1980s and 1990s — the ideal open-air opening evening. Saturday evening is "100% PARTY" with dieBANDE and current chart hits — party atmosphere guaranteed. Sunday is entirely dedicated to the local clubs — morning pint, lunch, club performances, children's program.
Free admission to all open-air concerts.
