The Mündener Weinmeile combines the pleasure of a relaxed wine tasting with a charitable cause. The proceeds from the event go to the local hospice – an institution that enables dignified end-of-life care for seriously ill and dying people in the region. This gives the evening an additional dimension that goes beyond the pure wine experience.

The Historic Packhof

The Packhof at Lohstraße 17 is one of Hann. Münden's historic commercial buildings. As a transshipment and storage point for goods from Weser shipping, the building has fulfilled a central function in the trading city at the confluence of the Werra and Fulda rivers for centuries. Today it is an atmospheric event venue, whose courtyard is suitable for open-air events with a special ambiance.

Format: One Evening, Five Hours

The Mündener Weinmeile is designed as a one-evening event. The program runs from 6 PM to 11 PM – a temporally concentrated window that appeals to working people after work as well as weekend travelers and residents of Münden. The short duration has a clear advantage: the atmosphere remains dense throughout, without the tiring character of multi-day events.

Wine and Gastronomy

The selected wines come from German and European growing regions. The curated selection is tailored to the evening, convivial character of the event. Accompanying gastronomic specialties are offered that pair well with the wines – cheese, ham, antipasti, tarte flambée, and vegetarian options.
