About Mosel Musikfestival Trier
Since its founding in 1985, the Mosel Musikfestival has been one of the most important classical and crossover festivals in Rhineland-Palatinate. For over ten weeks, from late July to early October, it utilizes around 40 venues along the Moselle – castles, monasteries, wineries, palaces, churches, and special open-air locations. The 2026 festival runs from July 23 to October 3.
A highlight of the Trier concerts on August 9, 2026, is the performance by Kat Frankie with her project BODIES in the courtyard of the Electoral Palace. The vocal ensemble brings together eight voices, creating a dense tapestry of harmonic layers, beats, and soundscapes based purely on human voices.
