43 Years of Spring Festival in Melle

The Meller Geranienmarkt celebrates its 43rd edition in 2026, making it one of the oldest and most established city festivals in the southern Osnabrück region. What began as a market for summer flowers has evolved over the decades into an all-day city festival that completely takes over the Melle town center on May 9, 2026.

Program from Morning to Late Night

The market opens at 10:00 AM with the classic geranium sales stands, regional vendors, and catering. Throughout the day, small stages, interactive stations, and clubs will animate the town center. Shops will be open late until 6:00 PM — a shopping Saturday in spring mode. In the evening, the stage program at Rathausplatz takes over until 11:30 PM.

The main stage at Rathausplatz will feature in 2026:

• Steplight — Live band with cover songs and original repertoire
• DJ støbi — DJ set with pop and dance classics in the later evening hours

Volunteer Mile
