City festival in a historic setting

The Lüttes Altstadtfest Otterndorf uses the beauty of Otterndorf's baroque town center as its stage. The St. Severi Church, the historic burgher houses, the marsh town atmosphere on the Medem — all of this forms the backdrop for the town marketing association's annual summer festival.

July 24 and 25, 2026 — two days of festival

The 2026 edition takes place on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25 — a whole weekend that extends from the old town into the neighboring streets. Two stages provide almost continuous live music.

Two stages — music until midnight

• Kirchplatz Stage — Live music and bands
• Rathausplatz Stage — DJs and party sounds
• Performance times until midnight on both days

"Otterndorfer Spielstraße" for children

Between Großen Specken and Schloßgarten, the Otterndorfer Spielstraße is set up — a children's area with games, hands-on activities, face painting, and bouncy castles. This makes the Altstadtfest an event for the whole family.

Saturday Flea Market

On Saturday morning around the church: the traditional flea market. Junk, books, children's clothing, curiosities — an institution for early risers and bargain hunters.
