Annual wine festival on the square by the Protestant church with Nahe tapas and live music
Langenlonsheim is one of the important wine-growing communities in the Nahe region and belongs to the Langenlonsheim-Stromberg municipal association. The community is surrounded by vineyards; several renowned wineries shape its economic and social life. The wine identity of Langenlonsheim includes high-quality Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir.
The square around the Protestant church is the central historic site of Langenlonsheim. With the church as an architectural focal point and the adjacent courtyards, a festival area is created that allows for tasting in several sections. The vintners' stands are spread across the square and into the courtyards, allowing for relaxed movement between stations.
A special feature of the Langenlonsheim Wine Festival is the offering of Nahe tapas. Small regional dishes, often refined versions of classic Palatinate and Nahe specialties, are served in tapas-sized portions. They are perfect accompaniments to wine and allow for combining several taste experiences per evening.
On the festival days, bands and acoustic groups provide the musical accompaniment. The historic setting around the Protestant church, the warmth of the summer evenings, and the variety of vintners and tapas stands create the typical summer wine festival atmosphere.
The 2026 edition continues the Langenlonsheim Wine Festival tradition on the third weekend in July. Three days of festivities in the historic setting around the Protestant church, featuring Nahe tapas as a culinary highlight and live music.
The exact program for 2026, including the band lineup, will be published by the municipality of Langenlonsheim in the summer. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years.
