With the Landesmusikfest 2026, the State Music Association Rhineland-Palatinate honors five decades of voluntary musical work in the state. Two Stages in the Heart of the City
The focus of the festival weekend will be on two main stages, which will host performances concurrently. In front of the historic Stiftskirche, Kaiserslautern's oldest church, classical wind orchestras, brass choirs, and symphonic wind ensembles will perform. Schillerplatz will be the stage for younger, more experimental formats: big bands, brass ensembles, modern wind arrangements, and crossover projects.
