Lower Saxony's Garden Show of the Year

With the 2026 Bad Nenndorf State Garden Show, the state of Lower Saxony is once again hosting one of its regularly recurring major garden exhibitions. Bad Nenndorf, the spa town in the Schaumburg region at the foot of the Deister hills, has extensively redesigned its spa park and the surrounding urban area for the show. From April 29th to October 18th, 2026, the season spans 173 days. Over 1,500 individual events are included in the regular day ticket: lectures, workshops, guided tours, concerts, art activities, sports offerings, and family programs. This makes the State Garden Show far more than just a botanical exhibition; it is a tiered program that covers the entire spectrum of cultural life.

The Forest Temple

An architectural sensation of the Bad Nenndorf State Garden Show is the Forest Temple, a treetop walkway that takes visitors to airy heights and offers new perspectives on the spa park.
